New Balance “574”
In 1988, under the enlightened guidance of the new president Jim Davis and a decade of good successes in half the world marathons, Bostonian New Balance released its famous 574 model, combining 2 different previous models. Initially conceived as a technical running shoe, and able to provide greater comfort to the cross-country athlete, the New Balance 574 then proved to be a popular casual model, now made in different materials and with many color variations, but always accompanied with the timeless “N” logo on the side.
