The “Classic” Sneakers that you can’t just miss in your wardrobe!

Affected by Sneakers-mania …? And who has never been? Yes, because the coolest type of shoes of the moment have existed for more than a century: in fact, the invention of the famous All Star dates back to 1917, the first shoes born for sports use, but which would soon have carved out a space outside of training camps and gyms.

It may seem strange to us, but iconic items like jeans, sunglasses, t-shirts have now reached a respectable (and venerable) age. Through the decades, and reaching up to the present day, sneakers have also been able to reinvent themselves and establish themselves as true style icons.

Trustworthy life companions and constant reference point, how could we not remember those iconic models that, more than any other, have made sneakers a true mass phenomenon? High, low, plain or colorful, the legendary Sneakers today are worn indifferently by everyone: by the very young millennials, but also by their parents and why not, by their grandparents!

Here are the 7 “historical” sneakers, which certainly deserve a place of honor in our evergreen wardrobe!

Converse All Star “Chuck Taylor”

Back in 1917, Mr. Marquis Converse conceived his indoor sneakers in canvas and rubber, the legendary All Star; in 1932, the most famous All Stars of all time were born at Converse, the unforgettable Chuck Taylor, named after the basketball player who chose them and who has since been added to the Converse star logo; and for a long time, “Chuck” would have been synonymous with Basketball. In addition to the legendary canvas high-tops to lead the way, there are many other sneakers that have earned a place in history. Yes, because time passes, but the sneakers remain. Adidas, Nike, Converse, Puma, Superga, Onitsuka; many historical brands, flanked today by new emerging brands, to compete every year for the best sales performance and a place in the hearts of their loyalists.

At least, these fashion shoes that we at Stylight have selected for you, which have made the history of streetwear (and of our shoe racks). And you, how many of these classic sneakers do you own? Make sure you have them all!
